Twenty first century learning competences include not only the gaining of academic skills, but also the development of lifelong skills such as teamwork, responsibility, communication, creativity, initiative and leadership skills. Although these skills can be taught in the classroom, the camp and excursion experience place students in a real life context that fosters their development in a substantial and lasting way.
We strongly encourage parents to support participation in these activities and have payment plans and assistance available if there are financial concerns.
