Kariong Mountains High School offers a wide range of sporting opportunities for students. In addition to curriculum based sport and carnivals, students are able to join teams and participate in extra curricular activities and competition.
Each year carnivals for athletics, cross-country and swimming are held. It is expected that all students will participate in these events in some capacity and to the best of their ability. In addition, students participate in zone carnivals and may then progress through to regional CHS events.
KMHS House names and Colours:
There are four sporting houses at Kariong Mountains High School:
Students selected house names in keeping with the school’s biosciences focus and hence named them after National Parks and Conservation Areas.
Students are able to participate in a range of inter-school sporting events that will vary from year to year, depending on interest and staff availability.
