Principal’s Report: This week saw our partnership with P-Tech/IBM and Borg Industries, move a step forward, with 10 students visiting Borg industries for an orientation and having the opportunity to try out the VR Welding program that is used to assess the skill set of workers, on site…
From our Deputy (Years 8-12): A number of students are consuming energy drinks before school and this is strongly discouraged. They are high in caffeine and sugar with no nutritional value. Despite some advertising, there is no evidence in improvement of academic performance; it is actually quite the opposite. Students found with energy drinks at school will have them confiscated.
From our Deputy (Year 7):
We’ve seen over the last few weeks the devastating impact that bush fires can have and our thoughts and prayers are with those towns and villages still threatened. Across the bush fire season to date, lives have been lost and over 400 homes have been destroyed. A stark reminder of the volatile nature of this beautiful land…

Year 12 Formal 2019:
Congratulations to our graduating class of 2019!
This newsletter includes two pages of photos from the Formal, held at Linton Gardens in Somersby on November 13.
Year 8 Mock Interviews 2019: The annual Year 8 Mock Interviews were held at Kariong Mountains High School on Tuesday, November 19. It was great to see the students all dressed up in business attire, conducting themselves with fantastic manners and maturity beyond their years.
